One of the first things we do for many of our nonprofit marketing clients is help them get set up with the Google Ad Grant. This program provides qualifying nonprofits with advertising credit on Google valued at up to $10,000. The great news is that most nonprofit organizations do qualify for the Google Ad Grant.
Running Google Ads can help people who are searching for specific services find a nonprofit that provides them. It can also help nonprofits discover new supporters—people who may have never otherwise learned about the organization.
Using Google Ads to increase support often requires creativity. After all, not many people are searching on Google for places to donate their time or money. At Beeline, we often use what are called “lead magnets” to bring people to a nonprofit’s website. From there, the organization can capture their contact information, add them to an email list, and, over time, convert them into supporters.
