1. How do I know if I can trust you?
There are plenty of fly-by-night marketing consultants and nonprofit marketing agencies out there that are happy to take your money and give you little in return. You absolutely want to work with a nonprofit marketing agency you can trust—one that will do what they say they will do and deliver a return on your investment!
Beeline has partnered with and has been featured by many respected companies and consultants in the nonprofit space, including:
- Virtuous
- CauseVox
- Bloomerang
- Feathr
- GiveSmart
- Donorbox
- OneCause
- We Are For Good
- qGiv
- Quam Taylor
- Hands on Fundraising

You can reach out to any of these organizations. They will attest to what we’ve done with them and for them or their clients. You can also learn more about our story, get to know our team, and watch the testimonial videos from our clients!
Beeline has been delivering real, measurable results for nonprofit organizations just like yours for many years. We provide you with the help you need to grow your nonprofit and advance its mission.
2. Why should I spend donors’ money on something that isn’t core to our mission?
Marketing IS core to your mission.
When your marketing strategy aligns with your core beliefs, it’s not a distraction—quite the contrary, in fact. Effective marketing will grow your organization by attracting more like-minded supporters, donors, and volunteers, allowing you to advance your mission in ways you may not have thought possible!
On the other hand, a nonprofit with no marketing strategy has made an unconscious decision to remain small and ineffective.
3. Why should I spend my nonprofit’s limited funds on marketing?
If your marketing budget is spent wisely, it ceases to be a cost and rapidly becomes an investment.
Dan Pallotta gave a great TED talk a few years ago. He said, if you insist on keeping marketing to near-zero, you’ll have to run a bake sale that will net $71 for your cause. But allow that marketing budget to rise to 40% of your revenue, and you can net $71 MILLION. Which do you prefer?
Most marketing consultants and agencies only offer “Done-for-You” service. This type of service can be expensive, since outside marketing experts put in many hours to make your campaigns effective. The more time it takes, the more it’s going to cost.
On the other hand, if you give your marketing or development director a “Do-It-Yourself” system, such as an online course, it might be cost effective, but it may not provide meaningful results.
At Beeline, we offer “Done-for-You” marketing, as well as DIY tools that your internal marketing team can use, but we also offer “Done-with-You” marketing services for nonprofits that can take on many marketing tasks on their own, but that could also benefit from our expert guidance and support.
If you choose this option, the team at Beeline will:
- Handle everything you don’t have the capacity to complete in house
- Train you to do everything within your team’s capabilities
- Take charge (and take the responsibility) to get you a return on your marketing investment
4. What if I don’t have a big marketing budget?
Most of the nonprofits we work with at Beeline don’t have huge budgets for marketing. However, because Beeline focuses exclusively on nonprofits, we understand the challenge. We have structured our services to be affordable. We work alongside our clients as partners and train them to do all they can for themselves.
Beeline offers customized marketing services that meet your nonprofit’s specific needs. If you need an agency to handle every aspect of your marketing, we can do that, or if you have an internal team that just needs a little bit of support and guidance, we offer that as well—and every level of service in between!
The key is, we are prepared to train and support you and your team to do as much as makes sense to keep your costs down.
5. Shouldn’t we hire a well-known marketing company that will do everything for us?
To put it simply, a bigger name = a bigger price tag.
Well-known brands do NOT always get the best results. And it’s only the results that matter!
Take a look at our client case studies. Read our client testimonials before you go with a big-name firm just because of their name recognition.
You should also consider that a consultancy like Beeline gives its clients far more attention and care than most larger agencies, which can have hundreds of other clients. We don’t have anything against big marketing firms—there are some great ones out there—but know that when you work with Beeline, you will have our full attention. Every client matters to us!
6. We were burned by the last marketing agency. Should we keep our marketing in house to avoid that happening again?
At Beeline, we teach our clients how to take ownership over their marketing. We show them how to get transparency and accountability from their agency or consultant. You shouldn’t have to wonder what your agency is doing on your behalf. You shouldn’t blindly trust that the reports they are providing you with are accurate.
When you work with Beeline, we will provide you with everything you need to keep tabs on your marketing campaigns and the results they are producing. In addition, when you work with Beeline, you can keep a portion of your marketing tasks in house. We offer coaching, in which we work alongside your team to help you excel in the parts of marketing where you are the subject-matter experts.
7. We don’t have anywhere near $1M in revenue and are quite happy staying small. Can we still get marketing support from Beeline?
If your nonprofit is small, and intends to stay small, Beeline is not the firm you need. We’re geared towards nonprofits that are ambitious to grow their impact. In addition, we don’t provide general “marketing support”. We fix specific problems and achieve specific results for nonprofits that want those results.
8. Do I need to be a faith-based or faith-inspired nonprofit?
No! Beeline has worked with both faith-based, and non-faith-based organizations. If you look through our blog and through the list of our clientele, you’ll see plenty of examples of both.
